Tye is a human born on the SOL-0 Orbiter and raised as a test subject on Level 2, physically isolated but in frequent digital contact with their two friends and fellow Level 2 subjects Iris and Zee. Tye was raised by Xera and Xaveria. Unlike Zee and Iris, they were never considered a possible contender to receive an ankar, and they were instead raised to function as emotional support for their friends during their development.
Tye is a sensitive and friendly human whose area of study on Level 2 focused on illustration. Their art was largely inspired by their interest in earth human media, particularly movies, though all of this research was confined to Wikipedia summaries prior to NK:02.
